Solid CEL and ECU Code 9 CPY Sensor After Timing Belt Change - Searched
My timing belt on my 1.6i-16 (ZC) snaped and I had to replace it. After replacing it I turned the motor over by hand and everything seamed to be ok. It starts up fine, but I get a solid CEL and the ECU flashes a code 9 constantly (I know its a cylinder position sensor error or something like that). Its plugged in though. If I let the car idel for to long it cuts off. The vavles sound like they need to be adjusted. And Im note sure if the timing is off or not, but the performance is not degraded. I did a compression test and got these results: (Dizzy) 185 175 165 180 (Timing Belt) What could be the problem here? Thanks
