Default 98 accord shifting problems

i have a 98 accord, its the v6 automatic , im having shifting problems with it when the car reaches its normal operating temperature the car starts to go to neutral then shifts really hard. Im thinking it has to do with the ecu but thats why im posting this up to get some insight.

Have you checked the fluid color (should be bright red) or changed fluid

I would still bring it in to see if it was covered by the extended warranties...but it really depends on your car...if you manually shift an automatic car...its not good for the tranny...I honestly don't know why people drive automatics like manuals..but give the dealer a call or bring it in...its worth a try!

replace your transmission. DO NOT REBUILD IT. call HONDA of AMERICA and SEE if they WILL OFFER some assistance after you get it diagnosed at a HONDA DEALER.
