NHRA E-town may 4th 5th and 6th, who's going?
I'm coming to watch sunday. A buddy and I are coming into town sat sometime and meeting up with a buddy of his providing a place to stay (10mins from track). It beats leaving here at 4am sunday to get there sunday when gates open.
So with that said...Where's all the sat parties going to be at?
Whats the weather suposed to be like this weekend? Looking forward to meeting up with racers and seeing what new cars there are this year. My car almost made it to this event but lack of funds kept me from getting to the dyno in time so it will have to wait.

I doubt he will be ready, from what Ron shearer told me a few weeks ago, he was redoing some chassis stuff so that he can run faster, anticipating a return mid season.

no way i can make it there on friday
i hope i dont have to park on the other side of the universe like i did at the last race at etown. i felt as if i parked inside a rotary engine.
i still vote the rotary cars should have their own spot in the pits. has anybody figured out why they have to free rev their cars to 25,000 rpm every 8 seconds? i think it should be O.K. to machine gun their cars when they do that. or fine them 100 bucks each time they do it. i'll take 50% for coming up with the idea and making everybody's weekend better haha.
NHRA i have a request........... what would it take to be able to reserve parking spots for the regular guys in the heads up class's (you know, like the "other" sport compact series
)
sometimes it can really make the weekend that much more enjoyable if you can get to the track knowing that you have a spot, and even coordinate who you park next to/with etc. a lot of us sportsman guys are poor and havnt filled our trailors with all the goodies it takes to be there all weekend so when we can park next to each other....maybe one guy has a compressor....one guy has a generator...stuff like that...it really helps. hopefully by the year 3032 i'll have a toter with 6 room hotel, 2 or 3 spare cars, engines, casino, restaurant, and roller coaster. im still saving up for that
