Does anyone know if there is an adapter that plugs into the OEM stereo and charges it as well as plays it through the existing stereo?
I have found a few products but none say for sure they will work on the 07 model for sure.
This isn't for me it's for my girlfriend, any help would be appreciated.
also...

what the hell is that little vent looking thing?

the vent is for the auto climate control. my CL has one and it is used to measure ambient temp so it knows how to mix heat and ac.

For some reason I'm having trouble linking to it, but if you enter the car's information into Crutchfield they show an iPod adapter for $150. Direct connection, not an FM modulator.

There always is the option of putting $150 into a Metra kit, $200 into an Alpine head unit, and $30 for an Alpine iPod adapter.
Before putting $150 into the iPod adapter for the factory head unit, read the reviews. My guess is that the factory head unit will not display the songs / tracks.

I'm not worried about the stereo displaying the songs, as long as it plays through the stereo with better than FM transmitter sound quality I will be happy and so will she.

I tried to find it on the honda e-store but I am going to call the dealer tomorrow and see what they say, I'm kind of scared to hear what they charge for it plus installation.
I really really really don't want to put an after market deck in her car, I saw they make the adapter but with the way that the OEM stereo is set up I just think it would look like crap.

I looked at http://www.handa-accessories.com but didn't see it listed. God.loves.ugly, you can always call them and ask about it. It's going to be something you just plug into the back of the radio, it's definately something you can do yourself.
A little off topic, but I also saw that handa-accessories will soon have a similar site for Toyota parts: http://www.factoryautoaccessories.com/toyota/ (it's not completely set up yet). Besides my Accord I have a '95 Camry, it will be nice to be able to buy even basic stuff like oil filters at a discount.

I would check out Dension's Ice Link Plus
http://www.dension.com/icelinkplus.php
I have one of these installed in my car. Very easy to install. Theres a photo tutorial out there somewhere...if I find it, I'll post.
I find this is the best option out there. Direct connect, charges the ipod and you can use factory deck controls.
