ok. my car is a 94 civic ex. 1.6 vtec in it with a p05. (p28 fried) it worked fine in my friends 92 hatch and pulled hard. but in this car. it seems to stumble when i accelerate. it its like waaclunkwahhhhhhhcluinkwaahhhhh. like the engine is coughing. or hiccuping mabye... and it lacks a hell of a lot of power. its amnaual and an auto 96 ex. pulled 2 cars on me. (and i kan drive). i have a vss sensor and o2 sensor. vss is in the cluster. and the o2 is alot to replace so im wondering if these are common signs of a bad o2. please help is needed bad. and my rev limiter kicks in at 6 grand.

 

It sounds like a lack of fuel (bad fpr, injectors, etc)

Get rid of that ecu btw, and pick up another P28 or at least a P08 (D15B ecu).

I dont know about that rev-limiter...you shouldnt be hitting that anyway, you're not even making power up there (assuming this is stock)

 

deff u need to get a new p28 your motor isnt getint the right fuel intake fuel injectors can be another problem by the way 1995 civic dude ur a duck moveup to the ek atlease duck

 

wtf? ortiz. a duck? k but the ec u ran fine in thae otha car. so.. i dunno.. bad fpr tho? ive got 2 others.. will a fpr from a b18a1 work?

 

help needed.... losing races by the minute haha... but seriously gas mileage sucks nad it jus Feels horrible. the start is the worst.

lol i tried to explain the sound best i could lol.. yes. 2 cel's. VSS. my gauge cluster is shorted. and 43. fuel system supply. i got a new fuel filter. ran valvoline fuel synthetic cleaner thru. and took off my injectors and rail and cleaned them all... im tryin to figure out wat else to do...
