Default Poor man's front stand...

I desperately need to re-spring my GSXR forks as they are wayyyy too stiff for me. They have GP suspension valves, and .95 springs in them. I'm going to put .85 springs in them. I needed to remove the forks (to save $60) so the shop could put the springs in, but i didn't have a pin style front stand. I got creative with a ceiling joyce and some tie downs. Snapped a picture for ya:

Were they going to work the valving too? Spring swaps are pretty simple, especially since you got the front end off the ground.

Maybe "gixxer" parts are different

Nice ash.

They're just replacing the springs. The oil is only 2 months old and the valves are GP suspension valves.
If the forks are still too stiff after this i'm just buying another set that haven't been modified.
The install is pretty straight forward, if you have a spring compressor, which i don't have. The price difference between the spring compressor and the spring install was like $20. And i'd rather just pay the extra $20 to have a professional take a look at these forks for me as well.
