what is the worst that can happen...

car still runs fine by the way i just wanna take precaution.

coul i mess up my plugs timing or alternator, etc

All you did was grind your starter against your tranny gears. You'll be fine.

i was tired...long drive...5.pm. traffic sucks...

held it like for 2-3secs...lol

I did it 3 times in a row because my old *** accord likes to pretend to shut off all of a sudden. Still runs til this day haha

 

You just distroy your flywheel and starter gears. You'll have to place them both. Possibly damage your clutch too.

I used to work at a carwash and when my surpervisors would drive the car into the tunnel they would forget that the car was still on and they would crank it when it was already on. Nothing happened to any of the cars. Your fine, dont worry about it.

 

nothing except next time it'll be harder to start.

 

Its a simple concept...if the engine is humming the car is already on.

Honda engine are so quite, some might mistaking for not being started yet.

Maybe if they are stock...cause mine you can definately tell...or just go get some stiffer mounts and you will never have to guess if the car is on or not

yep, same here, mine hit VTEC the moment I turn the key over.

 

Lat time i did that i threw a rod through the block.................or i just put it in 1st and drove away, i can't remember.
