VAFC 1st GEN

okay i got my vafc installed today profesionally, well anywaysits been acting up when im driving? if i set the vtec at 3500 rpm's it Bog's and doesnt let me pass that rpm almost like a rev limiter? next my vtec isnt changing WTF? if i set it at 5500 rpm it still doesnt kick in til 5800/6k(motor is a d16z6/P28ecu), can someone give me a Real good link on putting the right spec's and settings for the VAFC? thanks.
