White smoke coming and going...
So I just had my radiator replaced after my old one has died out. It's a Koyo radiator I've had it for a good 2 weeks and starting last night my car has started to shoot alot of white smoke out of the exhaust. After a little while it goes away though, it comes out randomly and comes back randomly. I didn't notice it until I was sitting idle on the street and I noticed a grip of white smoke coming out. My friend behind kept complaining about my car smelling like ****. I thought it was just because I had a test pipe but I guess not
I did a bit of reading and white smoke would either be coolant being burned or a blown headgasket. The thing is I don't drive the car that hard, I really don't. Bone out here and there, but nothing major or drastic that would cause severe damage to the motor. The motor has rougly 60k on it, too. Regular maintenence at 2500 miles MOBIL1 synethetic oil. My question is, how did I blow my head gasket if I did or how come the car is burning coolant?! Any opinions, responses would be great. Thanks!

Look under your oil filler cap. If it looks like chocolate milk shake under the cap. then you got oil and water mixing. So that way if you know if u got a blow head gasket.

Checked the cap - Theres no gunk or "chocolate milk shake" haha.
I checked my oil I am missing quite a bit of it.

Burnt rings and missing oil would mean black smoke wouldn't it ? My smoke is clearly white, at night and during the day.

Do a compression test and also do a colling presure test aswell, and go from there. does the vehicle have an abnormal idle at any certain time?

Nah no odd idles or anything of that nature.
I think I'm missing oil due to some racing
It's just shooting some smoke, but it comes and goes.
Compression test huh..? I'll look into that.

yea man theres no point in talking about anything until you do a 5 mins compression test. After that we will have a better idea. But keep in mind a blown headgasket is a $60 repair if you know what your doing.
Anyways after A LOT of lagging, I finally got around to that compression test.
It came up 240-230-230-240. At the same time, I found out my NGK iridium spark plugs that I had just replaced 2500 miles ago had corroded in cylinders 2-3-4. And to ADD on top of that, somehow oil is leaking into where my spark plugs are
I have no clue where to go from here. The white smoke is still there and I'm a bit lost. Opionions ? Suggestions ?

When you ran the compression test, did you take note as to if there was bubbling in the radiator?
I wonder what else it could be other than head gasket?</TD></TR></TABLE>
it could still be the headgasket but it is probably a minor one which is why it is occuring randomly for him
if your radiator was bad before its a good chance you ran it low on coolant and overheated the motor
i would be willing to bet that you need to get your head taken off and decked and you need a new headgasket which could be why your compression is slightly lower in between cylinders 2 and 3

Replace the spark plug o-rings.

You wouldn't happen to have a picture of what that looks like would you ?

they are little black O shaped rubber rings that are under your valve cover between it and the head..
pretty self explainatory

I've got to do the same thing here soon... Got new bolts for my spark plug cover, and noticed some oil build up around the bolts and spark plugs... All this maintenence is hitting me at once.
