Default HELP!!! BRAKE LIGHT IS ON

I drive a 1998 Civic EX (no abs) my brake light on my dash is lit up i looked in my master cylinder and it is full. i replaced my rear brakes 2 months ago with no promblems. i also made sure that the e-brake was all the way down. can somebody tell me what is wrong. i know that my front brakes are worn, i was thinking that maybe theres a sensor that makes the light come on whe nyou wear them down far enough. please help!!!! thanks alot for your help!!!!!!!!!

Is it the e-brake light? If so then the sensor on the e-brake could be thinking that it is up. Maybe if you try to adjust your e-brake cable

good thinking.

or maybe a plug came unplugged.

My bet is on the ebrake cable sensor.

well, you know where your hand rest is at, you take that off with i believe 6 screws. When you uncover it you'll notice that there is an electrical wire going to where the e-brake handle is at, check to see if it is connected. Hopefully i'm not loosing you. There you will see the e-brake handle which is attached to two cables(left and right rear brakes). You adjust them with a 12mm (if memory serves me correct. or maybe a 10mm).
