Whats the deal with my tach?
I just recently got my R and a smile comes to my face every time i shift up through the gears
. But while out driving around and giving the car some gas, i watched the tach, and i can take the needle up past 9000 and shift without the fuel cutting or hitting a limiter, eventhough the redline is at 8400 or something. Does this happen on everyone else's car, or is my tach just really off?

WHY? i dont know b/c i can? j/k. i was just out testing out the car and gettting used to it and, just wondering why the needle goes so high, b/c in my other hondas that i have driven, once you get a little past the redline, you feel the engine cut out, and you know not to go that far anymore, but i havent reached that point yet on the R.
