this is a 91 civic hatch si w/ ls swap and converted to obd1
I have no sprak and my fuel pump is not kicking on, i have checked all the fuses, i have swapped out the main relay, tried my buddies ecu and have checked most of the grounds i could find. i also had an extra ignition switch and tried swapping those out and still get nothing. My check engine light is on and stays on but i cant get it to flash a code. the car will crank all day long.

Did u jumper it so it will flash the code?

Check your conversion harness as well, and make sure the big fuses in the underhood fuse box isn't blown.

I had the same problem when I converted my hatch to obd-1 with my ls, I had to cut the connector that went to the old resistor box and twisted the wires together and it started right up

by jumping did you use a jumper harness. it a little plug on the driver side with a rubber cap on it and i always use a saftey pin with the head cut off to jump it together. pm me and i can text a pic to you tomarrow. it will make the cel light blink your code.

yea the car was running for like 2 months and then it just shut off, i thought it was just the coil in the distributer, but then i noticed the fuel pump was kickin on, im thinkin that maybe there is a bad ground somewhere but i checked all the under hood ones and they seem to be ok, is there any grounds in the interior that may cause my problem

Check out the electrical service manual, has the wiring diagram and pics of where all the grounds are.

probably not cause majority of the problem when doing a conversion are within the converted wires or related areas which do not include (with the exception of the ecu) the interior wires my guess is there is a loose wire somewhere which grounded incorrectly and it's causing a short. Did you convert your car to Obd1 yourself if so check the continuity of the wires for ignition..good luck i'll keep an eye on this to see if i can help you out a bit

update.

i tried a known good main relay out off my buddies crx with an ls, and i had no luck. so i checked the voltage at the plug on his crx and he has 12 volts on 3 of the wires, and i have 12 volts on only one of my wires, does anyone know where i can get a good wiring diagram off the internet, i have a haynes manual but the wiring diagrams in there arnt very good.

still cant get a code to flash, i just tried touching the wires on the rywire harness thats used to flash the code and it doesnt do anything, is there another way?

alright guys i got some progress now. i got a better wiring diagram than wut i had and it led me to a fuse that was the only one i didnt check because i figured it had nothing to do with my problem. it was the alternator solenoid valve fuse. i replaced it and now i have spark but no fuel. i checked the voltage to the wire going to the fuel pump from the main relay and i have none, any ideas

U gotta listen for it because it's only on for 2 seconds to prime the fuel lines then it shuts off until the engine starts running. Cycle the key to make it come on.

Ok what color was the wire u were getting 12V from? Did u check fuses 2 and 14 for the dash fusebox and fuse 37 under the hood? Might want to check all of the fuses though.

Sounds like you have an open circuit somewhere between the main relay and the fuel pump. Where were you checking for voltage on the yel/blk wire to the fuel pump?

i was thinking that same thing, but i checked for continuity (ohms) starting where the wire comes out of the main relay going to the ground side and i had like .4 or sumthin, but i think i figured it out, i tried hooking 12v straight to the pump and it didnt click on so ima end up gettin a new pump now. thx for the help so far.
