question on intake vacume lines??
i swapped a 91 crx si engine into an 88 i got it all wired up but it idols really rough and blows smoke. i am hoping the smoke is from the previouse engine that blew up. and i dont have the axles in yet so that might have somthing to do with the shakeing of idol. but i know for sure i dont have all my vacume lines from the intake hooked up. can anyone send me the diagram or a pic of where the vac lines from the intake manifold on an 88 crx si should go. i kept the 88 minifold so there is no difference there. also any other ideas or tips would be great thanks

all of the lines that come out of the intake manifold, not the fuel lines or anything like that, just the small ones that hook onto the fire wall
yeah but there are 4 or 5 lines that come out of the intake. is there any special way they should be hooked up? or can i just plug them in and block the others off?

the two way valve is at the fuel tank - should be a line coming out of the firewall just behind the canister - usually red/orange hose
ok i got everything hooked up the issue now is that when i start it up, it idols at around 3200, i tried tightening up the idol control screw, but even with it the whole way in it still was around 2900 now what, thanks alot guys you are helping me save a crx that was headed to the junk yard
If it is idling up and down the would be a vacume leak still. If the idle stays steady at 2900 I would check to make sure you have your timing correct. Either that or make sure the throttle cable is returning all the way back to the stop on the throttle body. Good luck!
