CEL on OBD0 converted to OBD1 91ef..HELP HELP HELP!

Default CEL on OBD0 converted to OBD1 91ef..HELP HELP HELP!

i have a check engine light on my 1991 honda civic hatchback....im using the boomslang obd0-obd1 converison harness with a p28 computer, obd1 dist, and obd1 o2 sensor?

how do you check the CEL?

ground a wire? d4? help

NEED EXPLANATION???

engine compartment, small two pronged plug coming out of the wire harness that does not plug into anything. It is located by the driver's side motor mount, the harness that is going to the headlight area.

hey bud i have the same car that you have. Im about to swap my engine for the VTEC also. Im getting the Bloomslang obd0-obd1 conversion and the p28 ecu too. I just wanted to ask was it a bunch a mess and hassle to do this. Plus where did u get your info on how to do the swap as far as hooking up the MPFI and the conversion wireing. If you get your answer to your ?.. that would help me also lol. thanks.

i dont have the plug under the hood...it was either cut or never came with it...maybe only si models or 88-89 but i dont have the plug..

what about on the conversion harness the obd1 plugs i kno which one is d4 i found a diagram... what do i do with it? ground it? to what? then what?

i dont know about boomslang but with the rywire harness there is two wires connected to the jumper that u touch together to get it to flash the cel, check ur harness and see if maybe there is something like that

It's the blue plug w/ green and brown wires, under the glovebox,to the right and taped to the harness. Jump it and count the flashes on the check engine light.

thanks to all the ppl who helped...i used d4 of the conversion harness and grounded it...im throwin code 14 which is IACV
