Default how much nitrous can a d15b7 take safely?

After I get my hondata s100, I'm thinking about puting nitrous on. Just a small shot nothing big, 35-50 shot. Think the stock motor will handle this or will I have to build the bottom end? Thanks

It'll take a 50 shot. Though I think you should just boost it. erh. Do a mini-me swap 1st.

I dont have all the time required to do the mini-me or do I have the money for a turbo kit. N2o is only there when you need it. No added heat from a turbo/supercharger. Its also pretty cheap, kinda like another gas bill. lol Would I have to do anything to the ignition/fuel system or are they ok with a low shot?

Nitrous isnt like the movies. You don't rocket into space. Its like hitting boost on a turbo. With your engine, **** and your tranny...I doubt you'll like the results.

Lol Thats a little harsh. But seriously save the money and go z6 or T3 turbo setup both are inexpensive options.

If U must do NOS be prepared to pay the cost for fixing broken stuff later

Cute, GREAT ANSWER MAN!!!!! I bet all your friends at high school high fived you over that huh?

It will be fine with a 50 shot and a good fuel pump man.

Ignore all the people spewing stupidity about how bad it will wreck everything. I have owned more FI cars be it nitrous or turbo's than most people have owned underwear. Yet to hurt any of them other than the occasional head gasket from my turbo cars. Just read all you can (not from these guys) and have at it. You will like the results.

you can easily put together a really cheap turbo for a b7, you just have to look in the right places and know what you're looking for

NOS FTW, if you're not first, you last.

Probably because you NAWS blew up your d-series with over 100k on the clock and shitty compression across the board.

Don't be a bitch, get boosted, swapped, or go home. With a 50 shot your piece will still be slow as expletive.

30 extra whp on a d-series is like a ******* with a condom.

omfg HAHAHAHAHAHA

yea nos is wack man, but for your question, yea ur motor can take it. and i agree with what was said above, with that motor and tranny, you're really not gonna go anywhere, especially with a weak 50 shot, but go with a

"direct port nos fogger system" ahahahahaha

Why is most people on honda tech act like *** holes. People here need to stop putting other down just becase they have been there and done that. The guy ask a safe way to run nos, not if it is a good idea or not.

Anyways, you need an inline or up grade your fuel pump, cold spark plugs (make sure you check them on a ragular base) and depend on wet or dry nos you don't need the s100. Just make sure you have enough fuel so you don't melt the piston or rings. You shouldn't need to build your bottem end. Have fun and when it blow swop the motor.

To everyone, you and I might have done all these stuff a one point but other haven't, so let them try and learn form there own experience. People need to learn to read befor they talk. So read his question.

Just don't go with nos, it really isn't worth it though

Like people were saying above me, just swap your motor out, d16z6, d16y8, d15b, something that vtec sohc, and then turbo it. If you do that and turbo it you will be more than satisfied!

Congratulations, Your E-Thug Rating just went up 3 points.
Seriously though, no need to call names and get all hostile, what are you like 12? Oh and just so you know, the ones that call other people **** and whatnot, are usually the ones who really are gay. They just call other people names to make themselves feel better and use it as a coverup. Congratulations, you just came out to the whole H-T community!

Back on topic. Pretty much like everyone else said, nos is going to be a waste of your time. Just save up for a swap, or do a mini me or turbo it. Turbo will be more reliable in the long run, as long as you have a good tune.

automatic hatch + nos. You're saying with 50shot you went from a 17 second car down to a 15 second car?

i think it blew at a 100 shot @ like 10 seconds during a burnout idk becuase the rings went and oil went everywhere(coulda been the ring lands) with the oil burining we kept spraying so hahah

well, how much is the mini-me after all's said and done(rough estimate)? I have a turbo and manifold, but the turbo has a circular opening and leaves a gap about 1/8th of an inch on the sides of the flange. Then I would have to take the a/c off the car in order to fit a downpipe on. But I know about n2o, but I also know alot about turbos too. I'll post up a pic to show you guys what I'm talking about.
