Default Brake cables problem, too short??

Ok, so I have these rear GSR brake conversion.

1st of all, I have this the same GSR rear disc brakes on my 97 EK hatch, I sold the 97 EK hatch and removed the GSR disc brakes and put it into my 99 EK hatch..... now the problem was the E-brake cables did not reach to the handle/adjusment in the center consol. It works on my 97EK how come it did not work on my 99 EK??

yo mine did the same exact thing... everyone told me i got a del sol rear disc setup but i took the setup off of the GSR that i bought it from so if u didnt get a del sol conversion than u just need civic ex w/ abs rear brake cables... i got mine at autozone for like 45-50 bucks a peice "one was more then the other although from what i understand the L and R side are both interchangeable"...

I would guess that the 99-00 si rear brake cable would be the correct ones. But I am not sure. if you search I am sure there is a how to on the 99-00 ek hatches

It work perfectly on my 97 EK hatch, then I remove it and put it on my 99 EK hatch and it was too short.

Did I do something wrong to make it too short??

how come it work on my 97 EK?? and not on my 99EK??
I was thinking that I might have to recheck the line underneath the car, I might of have run over or under something and causing it to be a little too short.
It's about .5"-1" short.

did you put the gsr brakes in ur first hatch yourself? i'm guessing not, usually when goin from rear drums to discs they include cables because the drums are different.

as its been said a few times before, 99-00 si disc cable. /thread

Yes, I bought it and put it in my self. Then removed again and put it in my 99EK and now the problem came up....
I know I could just buy 99-00Si cables but I need a quick fix.
It work on my 97EK, why dont it work on my 99EK??
