Default question for ef cars?

Which motor saves gas and really good reailable motor too? I'm thinking I decide for long time I want an ef hatch.

uhm, all of them? seriously though, your going to get 30mpg out of pretty much any combo, with the hf, std, and dx models closer to 40. my si gets 30ish usually

first generation b16a is what I have. reliable, fun, and they love to be revved high. thats a good motor along with any d-series motors should run for a long time

Yes, the less you are on it the better.

You have to find right above where your motor "lugs" and try to stay there.

Less work for the motor = better milage.

If you are soley saving gas go for a HF or a STD.

I have a CRX with the 1.5dp motor. I get 40mpg on the hwy and 36 in the city and 31 on the track.

I have a 91 hatch with a d15 with 170,000 and get low 40's on the highway.

I have asohc zc(same ads d16a6) with cold air 2inch full exhaust no cat. and I get about 29city 36hwy. thats when Im not really on it.

My 88 hatch with the D15B2 and STD tranny gets 38-39 on daily commute. Commute is 25 miles of highway and 15 miles of city(one way). Of course I can't pass bicycles, but I catch them at the red lights.

b16 for the VTAKKKK and the 8200 reline

or

boosted b20...faster

i say b16 for the win, BECAUSE ITS N/A and it has dat' vtec
