Default replacement tweeter speakers for 04 EX?

i want to upgrade my sopund system in my 04 civic, and crutchfield says that no aftermarket brand will fit the Civic high tweeter speakers (by the window).

Has anyone rigged up some to work, or can recommend a brand? I am also looking for 2-3 ways for the interior speakers also.

I haven't had any luck finding tweets either. If you find some let me know. I don't know what kind of deck you have, but I have an all Clarion system (minus subs). I put 6.5" in the doors and 6x9s in the rear. Sounds clean.

Those are my door speakers. Same deal for the rear just 6x9s.

I am curious to find out what fits in the sail pods too.. anyone have any specs on the tweeter depth and/or size that can fit in there cleanly without having to cut anything? thanks

wow NICE

i was thinking, maybe some descent $30 ones would work, but it wouldn't be an exact fit, you probably have to do a little 'dremel' magic, but i think the wiring is the same ... m gunna order my parts within the next few days, ill let everyone knows that works ...

as for the regular door 6x9's, those are standard sizes and you can get lot of brands to fit without modification.

gusy, i jsut bough a bunch of TOP QUALITY speakers for the civic. This includes front panels, rear panel and tweeter replacement.

I got all the stuff off ebay, and did all the research for what will fit, ext...

all the interior speakers were about 200 or so, for top of the line Infinity Kappa, also if you get a new headunits ( i am bidding on one for $20 now ) you can run these strait from the headunit, and dont need an interior amp.

Let me know if you wanna upgrade your stereo to top stuff, ill post that here.

for the tweeters, you are gunna have to do some 'rigging' which i think just means making a few holes to make em fit ...

JL Amps
JL Subs
Alpine HU
Focal Speakers

I refuse to stray away from those combinations.
