Those are horrible shocks. If you really want to stay low budget, Tokico Illumina. If you want to do it right..Koni Yellow or Bilstein Sport.

They're not bad shocks, they're just not high performance shocks. They're still a step above worn out OE. And if he's going with Tein S Techs, he's not after performance

Hp and GR2 are oem replacement shocks.

To the OP: if you want to do it right..get Eibach springs and Koni or Bilstein shocks. You'll be ecstatic with the results and it'll last.

how much are you getting the tein springs? If you don't already have them don't get them. Go to eshocks.com. They have good package deals..Koni/Eibach, Koni/HR etc.

Do you already have the tein springs? You are spending around $500-600. Why not just get some Tien Basic coilovers for 675 shipped at optionimports.com. They are just basic coilovers without damper adjusters, but if your not gonna go for performance then it doesn't really matter. Plus the Tien Basics gives you an option of ride height adjustability. So I think its worth the extra $100 to be able to raise or lower your car anytime you want.

I have h&r's lowering springs with Tokico shocks on my 5th generation Prelude and it rides SMOOOTH!!!All my friends that have their suspension setup with other brands like skunk 2,Eibachs, Tein, even Koni Yellows on their 4th Gen Preludes, 5th Gen, Integras, Civics; envy my smooth ride. The handlin is really good also. H&R's with Tokicos, good combination

They're both great shocks. Bilstein quality is better, but you'll have more support on ht for koni should you need it.

I'm most def a fan of Bilstein. Look at the TOP drivers, and you'll find Bilstein, Ohlins, etc.
