Default Sh strut????

Ok I searched and found a couple of threads that seemed fairly indecisive. I have a 97 type sh and was wondering what aftermarket struts work? Most seem to exclude the sh model, in the other thread it said you could use the base struts but the coilovers had to be sh specific, is this true? If not what strut do you reccomend? also does GC make sh specific coilovers?

If you're changing shocks and springs at the same time, you won't have any problems.

thanks man so what is the reason the companies say that the struts exclude the type sh model? I know that is a newb question but I have always had a civic so please enlighten me... can any others confirm that I will be fine running 97-01 prelude koni yellows with GC prelude coilovers? I want to be 100% sure this will work before I buy thanks

Yup. Just get the shock/spring combo for a base and you'll be fine

ok sounds good, It has progress group springs on it right now, and its just not low enough for me LOL, Will there be issues with the atts? honestly I want to get the car close to the ground im not that worried about performance here. I have read that the atts light will come on, will this affect anything if not I can live with the light more than the stance LOL. thanks again for the replies

The SH springs are a bit longer (higher rate), so the shocks are appropriately sized.

Don't slam the car and atts will be fine.

so the shocks being appropriately sized will set the car lower to begin with right? also if I do go to low and the atts light is there will I be affecting anything other than that system?
