I was driving down the highway last night listening to my music...
then all of a sudden....

i plug in my car charger ...no power to it either. i dunno wear to start its dark so i cant go check everything out help is VERY appreciated i need my music!

 

are your dash lights still on? is it like all interrior lights and power went off, or just the center console?

 

all dash lights still work. even the lights to the radio. but i switch my subs on and nothing....radio wont turn on, lighter wont power anything....
everything else works just fine .O.o

 

what year accord, if its somewhat old, a connection probably just went lose or something, i dont know were to tell you to check since electrical is my most hated part of working on cars. also i forgot to tell you on my last post, check the fuses, this could very well be a possibility

 

yeah i planned on checking the fuses tomorow.
its a 94 btw. i was thinking the same thing . but wanted some other opinions.

 

Radio and cig lighter run off the same fuse. Radio lights will still work, as they get power from a different source.

 

considering you are running subs and an amp youve probably blown a fuse..check your fuses under the hood and under the dash..I had the same problem when I had subs I kept blowing the interior light fuse..also check all your electrical connections where youve wired the subs..one of those may have come loose or something. so basically check all fuses and all electrical wiring to make sure nothing is loose

 

alright i have a feeling it is going to be the fuse.
any one know what one it is? ide hate to have to go through everyone like i did last time i blew one lol.

 

check your interior light fuse..that was the winner for me

 

Check the fuse for interior accesories. The one under the hood. Its a 15 amp fuse. I have subs and have blown it multiple times due to a bad connection but i fixed that so im all good now. I think it says something about the cig. lighter on the fuse panel cover. That should be the one.
