I'll buy it from him for 588 bucks. Just think, that's a 96% more than what he bought it for!!!

Seriously, I'll buy it. If he wants double amount of the original price ($600). Just think, a full, not 96%, but 100% profit! oOoOOOoh.

I need something (newer) to ride this summer before I ship out

Top speed is 175 mph. It can go 185 if you stand on the gas tank. Try it.

How is a huge stunt dent and rust a "ding" ?

Never mind that its been down at least on the left side by looking at the rest of the bike....

Its not even yours - why are you all up on your "boys" nuts? :toolbox:

Ehh...not so much. With the oil changes done right and all the maintenance on time, Honda bike motors can last a while, but not 300k. I'm willing to guess that the bike has had a tough 9k mile life...

+1...I'd be impressed if it made it to 30k. Based on the mileage and age of the bike, plus the fact that it was a stunt bike, you're looking at a motor swap in, oh, about 10 minutes

Back when I was broke,17 or 18 and living in NH, I rode around a $200 929 stunter for a summer. The thing was the biggest POS but has 34k and was still chugging along.

Gauge clusters are cheap on ebay - how certain are you of the mileage? That bike looks like it has 4 times that many miles.

marm, you forget that these early 900rr's, the front fender actually creates lift so at about 150 he's going airborne!!!
