so over the last few days I've been noticing that my throttle has been sticking and no lowering down to idle rpm when i either put in the clutch or when i'm shifting etc...any one run across this problem? any help/troubleshooting would help.

 

anybody?....this is kinda an annoying problem that i'd like to fix...

 

im having the same problem but at random times

ill be driving at 3000 rpms and push in the clutch and the engine revs to 4000 rpms and sticks there

im guessing its probably the throttle cable sticking or a burr on the TB

anyone?

 

yea it sounds similar to me. my dad told me to tighten the spring on the throttle body or lube up all the joints at the pedal and see if that may help...

 

i fixed the problem by the way,...i just moved the spring on the throttle body up another peg and it put more tension on the cable which pulled the pedal back to 0% throttle....or idle i guess.
