Just making everyone aware that I was just contacted by this email address

He wants to purchase my rims through using either fake checks or through money laundering. Not a good idea... .

Here was his email to me after we exchanged a couple previous ones. These guys are persistent.

Dear Ryan,

I would love to purchase the rims/tires.also i will offer you $1000 for them and i want you to consider them sold to me and i will be making arrangement for the wheels to be picked-up at your house where it is presently located.i will also instruct my associate to make the payment to you and he will mail you the payment in form of a US certified check/money order for $3500 which you will deduct $1000 for it.also you will have the remaining $2500 available for me to make arrangement with our local transporters that will coming down to get the wheels andsome of my other items been purchased in Georgia and get them shipped down to me here in Greater London, England.

I want you to send me your full name,address and phone number so that the check can be made payable to you.

I will be looking forward to hear from you.

those scams have been running around for a while
first time i heard about a guy picking it up from your house though
usually they send u the check for more than the amount
scammers
