Default Timing belt & clutch- How difficult?

Just registered to this board and got great response to my axle shaft dilema. Solved that problem.
I just bought this 1995 Civic CX (1.5 motor, manual trans, no a/c, no abs) for my son from my friend who was the original owner. It has 174K (mostly highway) on the orginal clutch and the belt was last changed at 100K. I plan to do both in the next month or so. How difficult are these jobs on this car? I intend to replace the water pump when I do the belt. Thanks

it all depends on your mechanical skillz .. its hard to tell some how hard it would be.. have you ever done a T-belt job or clutch on anything?

They really aren't terribly difficult if you're handy with tools, but I'd suggest picking up a repair manual and also having someone there as a helper (especially for the clutch).

they really aren't that difficult at all, hardest part of both will be stabbing the tranny back in, deffinetly put a pilot bearing in as well. located in the flywheel.

My mechanical skill level is good. I'm well equiped tool-wise. I've done T-belts and I rebuilt engines (auto & marine outboards).
Unfamilar with Honda Civic's so I figured I'd ask. Please let me know of any links with info & pics on either of these projects. Thanks
