My 90 DX distributor has begun to leak oil at the base. Is this a quick fix by replacing a seal? I also have a spare distributor from a 91 EX, is this a direct swap?

It should be easy. There is a rubber ring at the base of the distributor shaft. First MARK the position of the distributor and the rotor, and pull out the distributor. Replace the seal with a new one and put the whole works back is, in the SAME position as before. That should do it.
