Problem with exhaust on my 89 si
hey guys.. I gotta problem I had a 91 si hatch.. with the d16 and i had put a dc sports header (4-2-1 the 2 peice) and I ran my stock cat and had a full cat back skunk 2 exhaust had no problems getting it bolted up and hung.. I took it off that car along with the cat to put it on my 89 si.. with a b16.. the cat wont line up with the stock exhaust manifold.. why?? and it seems as though the hangers arent in the same place.. is the stock cat off a b16 different then a d16? bolt holes wise? what do i need to do to get this to bolt up without hacking up the skunk 2 piping
what type of header do you have on the b16
im pritty sure the header is longer than the d16 one
and for the holes there are 3 types of flanges use on exhausts 2 types of "2holes"
and one that has 3 holes ,
the holes are all spaced the same beside the diameterr of the exhaust tubing itself

on the d16 that i took it off of it had a dc sports 2 peice on the b16 i want it on its the stock exhaust manifold... everthying bolts up except where the cat bolts to the manifold.. the wholes line up but the cat came off of my d16 its a stock cat.. do I need a stock cat for the b16? or should the holes be the same?
