huh, maybe im running a pw0. i can't figure out why but my car opens vtec at 48-- to 49-- rpms. what the heck could be the reasoning for this? i'm not throwing any codes, either stored or on the dash. it also runs rich as can be. it's not so noticable when i have the car on the floor but when i let off the gas to shift it will often times have a large puff of excess fuel being burned off or even backfire a little blue flame. as said only when im on the floor and shifting of course in vtec. any ideas?

the pr3s vtec engage at 5200 and redline at 8200. UNLESS it is chipped. but as double trouble said it would be alot easyier if you would just look on the ecu. it says it flat out.
EDIT.
my ecu was chipped due to boost so my V-taaackk was set to 4500 and now that i think aboot it my roommates gay *** 98 coupe was set to around 5800 which meant he was only in vtec for like 1200 rpms(auto shitty)
