Default installing extended wheel studs

I did a search but did not get quite what I was looking for. I have a 92 DX hatch w/o abs and drums in the rear, and was wondering what the easiest way to install my extended wheel studs would by. I've heard that you can grind down the knuckle a little bit in order to get the old studs out and put the new ones in, any suggestions?

As long as your not an idiot putting the hub back theres no reason youll have to replace the bearing unless its already bad. If the car has no motor in it when your done stick some axle ends in so the hub stays pressed together. But removing the hub is the only real way.
