Auto tranny swap questions, on strength.....
I've got an 94 integra LS with an auto tranny and I'm dropping in a H22 auto.
My question: How strong is the H22 auto trannies? are there any known slipping problems that all or most of the cars have? are there trannies that I should look for? I wont be doing any mods to it, but am looking for reliability more then anything else.

It's hard to say.. Not many ppl have automatic h22 trannies, they were only made and sold in Japan, here u can only get an h22 with a manual tranny. I think it's been done before though so search and ask around. If it's all pretty much stock I wouldn't think u should have a problem with the reliability of the tranny as long as it's maintained and taken care of.
Mine has been very reliable for me. I'm also keeping the engine limited to basic bolt-ons. Make sure you get the jdm h22a tcm, so it can shift at 7,500rpm.
