Like the title states. I'm trying to throw window regulators from a 91 civic DX hatch into my 88 Civic hatch and for some reason one of the window regulator holes doesn't line up. Is the year difference the culprit?

I am not too sure about the regulators and such but I know that the actual doors are different from 88-89 to 90-91. I tried putting on a set of 91 doors on my 88 and no go.

90-91 has door mounted seatbelts
88-89 has the on the pillar.
the door beam is also stronger 90-91
88 doors on a 91 eliminates seat belts plus lighter doors, get a cage and some harnesses and yer good to go

88s are all piller mounted seat belt 89s are wierd, i know some are each i think only 89 HFs are like 88 doors (piller mounted seat belt) and the other models are like all 90-91s. You have an 88 so most of it's stuff is unique to 88 and sometimes 89.
88 FTW
