Default so i missed out

i found an almost brand new 99 si on ebay and i was damn ready to sell my 98 ex and an old van that i have to get it, but i needed to talk my parents into giving me an 8K loan. = / so needless to say i'm fairly upset right now. it was only running for 5600, buy it now price was 7299. it was a good buy too, everything was stock and the most of the front end was just replaced (bumper and grille and fenders were stolen). ah well... anyone looking for a 99 Si in sacramento or near???

Blue 99 Si

Move on. You'll change your mind so many times about your car just like I do.

I'd recommend you drive an Si first before you even think about buying one. I've heard of too many people being disappointed by how slow they are.

SI's are over priced. And over stolen. The car isn't that great. Drop a b16 in an EX and its almost even better. (lighter, less noticable, still have power options)

And overrated.

If you want a Civic that's quick, there are much better engine options and cheaper Civics to put them in. If you still want all the options, go for the EX.

well right now, i have a 98 ex, automatic. what i was looking for in that Si that i linked was that it was stock, because no matter what, if i buy a car i want to start from scratch, no mods on it when i buy it. My ex is stock and i had planned to swap out the auto for a manual tranny and then work up from there. Pretty much the only reason i was really into this was because the Si had low miles and was stock and manual so right there that saved me a tranny swap and an engine swap because i'll probably end up doing a B swap anyways since that's all i'd be able to afford. I appreciate the boost though, but i am still a lil disappointed = /

Wanting a B-series swap doesn't limit you to a B16A. And that's not the cheapest swap out there anyway.

They can be done for ~3000

Good bang for buck Is what I meant. It's certainly not the cheapest. LS is much cheaper.

yea. its much more bang for your buck. i recently swapped a JDM H22A into my EJ8 and i love it. very happy with it tho you sacrifice your powersteering and AC.

If you're going to change what I say, at least use correct punctuation.

And the H22 wouldn't be the only option either. I personally wouldn't want an H22 because I don't like the idea of cuttin into the frame of my car to make it fit. Not even a little bit.

Don't forget B18B (LS) with Si tranny.
