Default Half project car

So.. I bought this 89 Si about 2 1/2 months ago as a project car. Though it was crashed within a week, I'd still like to keep it as a project car.. I figure I'll share it's current state with you all. ha.

Notice the hose shoved into the seal on the end of the intake? It was like that when I bought it.
Is that a normal thing to do?

not cool, there should be a hose from the valve cover to the capped nipple right under the strut bar.

That's what I was thinking.. I've never seen it like it is this car. Should I rig a hose up and remove the metal one going into the seal?

Well, first thing's first: I gotta get it running again =P
I've got a thread all about that problem here
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1964064
Though I think after I replace the spark plugs/wires and a new gasket set it should start up fine.

Suspension is the next thing on my list.
Recommendations? Personal pref.?

depends if you want to spend

tokico illuminas (white) suspension packages; are really good for about 550 shipped

or you can get some koni yellows and ground control springs

for about 800 shipped or so

depends on if you want stock highet or lowere

also for stock hight the tokico blues are decent but dont lower to much on theses thats wha ti have they blow out easily with ebay coiloves(how the car came when i got it)

this would be my priority list:
fix w/e problems you have
find a rear window
replace interior/pass. seat (unless by project you mean drag)
get stocks tails
take out the ac
put a cone on that intake
rig something else up where its going into the intake... even if it works its extreamely ghetto and retarded looking...
put a rear wiper on

thats just a few things...

looks like your head lights are pushed in... thats going to be a bitch to get the eligned...

you got yourself into a deep on here... probably in better condition then mine when i bought it though...
just my .02...

oh and get a timing belt cover before you drive it again, dont want to get a rock in there and have to restart the project...
