Hey anyone,
i recently purchased a 99-00 SI head on Ebay. After receiving the package I immediately inspected the head for missing parts if any. Luckily all the parts where there but I noticed major scoring on the two intake and exhaust cam journals closest to the timing gears. My local machine shop said they could fix the journals on the head but i would need to find new cam caps since those where damaged as well , and the caps could not be fixed. Does anyone have any for sale, or perhaps know where I could find some for salvage because unfortunately honda does not sell these seperately and I,m not having any luck finding them online.

You,d think so , but my local dealer said that they dont sell them seperate from the whole head.

 

they are full of **** call honda and tell them you need cam seals i just got some . this is the part number 91213-pr3-004

 

or you could buy some alum ones off ebay for really cheap

the guy is asking for cam caps not seals. learn to read.

if you do manage to find someone selling just the caps (goodluck) you'll have to get them honed to match the head. you would probably be better off with a different head.
