i've heard of tranny/diff problem and clutch buzz. is there anything else i should check for?


how do i make sure the diff are good to go?

and what are the the cons of a 00-01 compared to the 02?

 

theres no way to really check if the diff. is not missing any teeth or anything without taking it apart, all you can listen for is a whine which still doesnt really tell you that much. the 02's have rear glass window and various other cosmetic things. if the 02 is in your price range id say get it over the 00-01. GL on finding an s2000.
