Yeah, well I have a couple of HVLP DeVilbliss guns and a compressor. I stopped painting. Wrecked my lungs with all those isocyanates. Too many allergic reactions.

 

 

My friend uses a set of those Startingline guns by Devilbiss...I've never used them tho, so im not sure how they spray.

and those Sata 2000's look nice

post em </TD></TR></TABLE>nice setup, the only difference between your guns and mine is that im still rockin the 2000 sereis, i have a minijet and KLC primer gun as well.

 

yeah 2000's are really good, but i just love how the 3000's fit in my hand better...so thats what i had to go with

 

how much are those guns a piece? couple benjamins?

i got a sweet deal at oriellys...one primer 1.7 tip and one base/clear 1.4 tip for $100 i will also be buying a 1.0 tip mini touch up gun from menards...on sale for $35. and it's JDM BLUE!

I dont paint often enough / professionally to know the difference..never used a SATA though. I would def. like to see the difference.

 

they were expensive none the less...the 2 digital ones were alittle over 600 each and the mini and primer were close to 300 each

Well you get what you pay for!

 

Would you guys say that a $100-150 HVLP gun would work fine for my paint job? Not gonna turn it into a living so not really interested in shelling out $600+ for a gun. I want something that will be decent but not make the paint look like crap or whatever.

You sir shall be fine. Just practice a lot with whatever gun and material you choose. If your not happy with your practice panels/ tests, change. Thats what will yield the better job as far as your spray technique/ set-up.

 

yeah, look into some devilbiss guns, they're good guns for the money

i have a sata digital too and i would not trade it for nothing. you cant go wrong with a sata.
