Default The different between Regular Ek lights and Halo?

I'm planning to install halo on my HB and there is something i'm confused about. the stock lights have 2 projectors, one for the signal and one for the light and high beam share the same bulb. Why the hell does the halo after market lights have three projectors?

See this is stock: 2 projectors

and then the halo has 3 projector....why?

simple question i know, but i love learning about the little details from people who knows these things and i learn better from people then from books.

thanks again

Not to dis your taste, but before you buy those check out the Civic Type R headlights. And it looks like one projector is for highs and the other is for lows.

Yes, on the projector headlights, they use two H1 bulbs instead of one H4 bulb.

I do suggest not getting those headlights. Not only are the reprehensibly ugly (just a personal opinion), but the light output is horrendous. H1 halogen projectors, especially ones with dichroric filtered lenses, don't put light out very well. Especially since there's very little RnD put into those headlights, so the output is poorly executed and the headlamp itself is improperly designed.

Do know not all projector conversions use H1's, some use H3's and there is common appearance of 9006's (but they are usually with oe bulb for the car being 9006).

I have black projector halo conversion units and while I love how they look the projector sucks (h3) and even with HID plug n play the output is good at best (only saving grace is the cut off shield, but it's fore ground is splotchy at best).

If you want simple, go with OE or OE style, if you want a little different get projo's and if you're really crafty/daring get projo's and do a retrofit with OE projectors and hid equipment.

oh and the OE units have two reflectors, the projector conversoin have two reflectors (high beam and turn bulb) and one projector....

Oh, by the way, you've got your first post all wrong.

The stock headlight has NO projectors. It has two reflectors.

The halo's have ONE projector, and two reflectors.

Tru story, but it you really want to get tecnical, both headlamps DO "project" light.

So in that sense both are light "projectors"
