As noted, when Im on the freeway or street going from 45-80 and then press on my brakes, the steering wheel shakes real hard . What the hell could this be? My eagle talon use to do it too, but not as much as the rex. Any info would be cool.

 

your brake rotors are warped from age, and intense heating and cooling.


have them resurfaced, or replace the rotors.

 

check your radius arm bushings. i redid my brakes and it still did it.

i put in new innovative poly bushings and the shaking went away. just do both, brakes and bushings

 

Thanks guys!!! Im gonna do that. I was actually thinking of replacing my rotors and brake lines, but now Im going to do the bushings too.

good call, but i honestly would just get oem honda bushings as aftermarket bushings are often squeeky and only last a couple years. I know from experiance.

 

Get an alignment too. That **** worked wonders on my shaky handling. Brakepads and rotors too! Everything should be less than $140.
