i still cant seem to get it
i have a b16 jdm in my 96 integra and im using the ls wire harness but the distributor conections dont match up and neither do the fuel injecter plugs???and im using an ls tranny is that ok???
what year is the b16? i'm guessing it's not obd2 like your car is. obd1 and obd0 distributor and injector plugs are different from obd2. you should get a b16 tranny to take advantage of the b16's top end power. your car won't be faster with the b16 than with the stock engine btw, especially since you still have the ls tranny on. putting a b16 in an integra is a waste of time.

i'm pretty sure the plugs are the same within the same obd.

the xsi is obd0 isn't it? that's why the plugs are different. the xsi harness won't work with your car, modify the stock one instead. you could also get obd2 injectors and distributor if you don't want to hack up the wiring.

that's not his problem. he only mentioned not being able to hook up the injectors and distributor, so i think it's safe to assume he got everything else. installing a gsr engine harness isn't going to do anything about this problem, which is that he has obd0 injectors and distributor, and he's trying to mate them with an obd2 harness. obviously those 2 don't go together without changing something.

well if your using the same harness from your original ls motor it is obd2 since its a 96. the injector and distributer dont plug up probablly because its an obd1 motor w/ obd1 injectors and distributer. you have to change your injectors to odb2 or change the clips on harness to accomodate the obd1 injectors.
