Just gotta cut a bit of the lower rad support out and it'll drop right in. Rad can only sit in one position for the hood to close properly and I'm using a 10" electric fan and have had no issues.

If you do go this route you'll want to make a metal protector to cover the other half to prevent crap coming into the engine bay.

It takes a lot to move the rad up or down or side to side because of how i cut the rad support.

I have seen a lot of people do it that way, not that I would suggest it.

We also sell them for a great price

^^ your forever trying to advertise your radiator. Hypocryte!! Every time a Radiator thread pops up or downpipe fitment issues you post pictures of your ebay radiator and suggest that they buy it. Get the Full-Race bar and half rad. Super expansive but well worth it.

Most traction bars for the EF, now have radiator supports for the EG radiator.

Note that every thread I pop into, I help as well. I sell radiators big deal, look at my sig, you could learn that with out me saying a word. Not like I pop in threads and say my radiators are better then any other companys. They are well prices, that is all. And a lot of guys don't like to run aftermarket crossmembers because then they can't run in certain classes.

For everyone that has called me from this thread, there is not a radiator yet made to be the same size as an eg half size radiator but shorter.

The bottom part, where the tabs mount to. This will bring the radiator more forward and down. If you know how to cut metal and have the tools, its not to bad.

i put mine in for my dohc zc tonight, didnt mount it, hoses hold it in place. Also didnt have to cut the radiator support, and im using a 14" slim fan, and hood still closes.

actually i have one that i got from an 87 yugo its half size, dual core and i pretty much made my own upper brackets and had the inlet/outlet rewelded check my project thread link in my sig for pics. the downside is its much easier to find a eg radiator then a 87 yugo radiator but its just another option

i used to run that dual core rad, it was tight but worked.. the EG radiator neck is fcking gay, i think this was a del sol rad..

crossmember was spaced down an inch and it was jammed between the x-member and the front piece, with some rubber so it wouldnt rub.

now i run the full race bars plus their half rad, its the best!

I'm using a jimfab front xmember
Cut off the old radiator/evaporator bracket. Used a peice of aluminum angle stock from Home Depot and drilled 2 holes for the bottom mounting tabs. Then I used 2 rubber bushings and bolted it to the car.Hangs lower, but with the Wings West bumper or an aftermarket front lip you can't tell.

Here is a front view.
