So at school here I really dont drive my car a whole lot. And when I do its usually pretty short trips that is all city driving with long stop lights. Iam sitting at the half way mark on the tank and I only have like 170 miles. That is really bad, the worst my car has ever gotten. I mean on the highway I get like 250 for the first half the tank! Is this normal with the low miles. Thanks.

 

i drive all city miles and get similar mileage.

usually works out to mid/low 20's.

and if i take a trip or two on the highway it'll jump up.

naw that sounds about right. i'm lucky if i can get 390 out of a full tank of gas. it also depends on how much you beat/don't beat on it.

 

yea thats about right..driving in the city driving on the highway ..I avoid driving in the city as much as possible especially in rush hour

 

if you are spending a lot of time idle then that is about right. In my 94 (when I had it) I would get 24/25 city and 34 highway

In my current car I get 21/22 city and 32 highway

 

23 mpg in city ; 36 on highway
