Default accord dash lights went out

I recently installed a sony cd basic cd player and everything was good i've done them before not that hard just power ground power switch and speakers, so today i start the car and turn the lights on and the dash lights are out.. the headlights/brakelights,turnsignals are all working. I checked ALL the fuses all are good.
i also took the cd player out and there still not working.
when i turn the lights on the P light turns off in the cluster and so does the little screen that diplays the milage an **** any ideas on what to do now?

if you guys shorted something out when installing radios, i am 100% positive that your multiplex is shorted. happened to me as well, but i hadn't found anyone that had the same problem back then. anyway, the multiplex i am talking about is the blue box in the drivers side fuse panel. change that and you won't have that problem again. next time when you install a radio in your honda, make sure that all your wires are covered. especially the illumination wire.
