quick question before i buy (front lip)

1999 and 2000 front lips WILL fit on an 05 em2 correct?

so if i buy this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1

i SHOULD be able to get it to fit.

beating a dead horse i know, but just a quick confirmation would help a lot.

Supposedly you can stretch the EK lips to fit the 04-05's.

Let me know how it goes, it opens up a larger selection if this is true

before stretching the lip look for the m-style lip for our car it look almost the same.

damn. i wish they made more products for the 04 05 crowd. i'm not willing to pay $500 for a front lip, but i'll pay $100 for a 99 00 one.

make sure its urathane and not abs, bc the urathane stretches and abs doesnt. but if its urathane the lips will fit, so i hear

yah says its polyurethane, so we'll see. im going to pic it up after i get my coilovers.

oh really? we'll all the ones i saw on ebay we're made of ABS

yes 99-00 urethene lips fit our 04-05 bumpers...

but now they are offering the same lips now made for our bumpers, so why resort to stretching when you dont need to anymore?

i had a 99-00 urethene type r lip, i just broke it off and just searched for a new one, and the price is the same between 99-00 and 04-05 so i just picked up an 04-05 type r lip...

do u think it would be better to buy the ABS one that fits or the poly one from a 99 00?

if possible try and buy the poly one because abs plastic will crack on you because eventually you are going to scratch it going down dips and im assuming you're lowered as well. ive had the poly mugen lip and the type r lip and the type r lip fits much better than the mugen poly. but hey thats my .2 good luck
