Does anyone have this problem? It usually happens at first start and when it's cold. Once the car (or temp) warms up it goes off. Don't think it's a fluid issue. I've heard sometimes the brake float gets stuck or may become faulty. Is this a big deal to fix?

 

it wont be in the brakes. there is a wire that connects to the e brake handle, when its up it has 0 volts running through it when its down it has 12 volts. get a volt meter and messure the voltage to that wire with it up and down. if your getting 12 volts both ways then its a problem with the switch in the handle.

 

This happend to me too, I just left it and eventually the light went out... lol

 

There is a switch on the e-brake pull your console and check if it stuck on.

 

my had the same prob....just check the master cylnder....on top...there should be two wires..mine were disconnected....
