running 2 intake walbro 255 pumps
make them fit the sender, run the line through a bulkhead, and run another line to the front.
with all the effort, a big single will do much better but thats just my thought.

If you hook them up in the intake its like turbo. Of all people I would have though you would have known that Tony. Jeez
I just finished up putting two in a supra - I don't like the idea.
Bosch 044 anyone?

The bosch 044 is only good for about 50-75hp more than the walbro 255. For the most part, if 1 walbro isn't enough, neither is one Bosch, unless you're right on the border of the walbro not being enough.

yes, it has the exact same results. each pump will be hooked up to 2 intake runners, that is why 4 cyl hondas only need 2 pumps.

titan motorsports sells brackets to fit 3 of them but you have to run some hose or something up to the intake. so really its a remote intake pump setup

i heard that kit was like 1000$ or something along that line. it has to be atleast $900 from what is shown in the pic making an educated guess and then you factor real world costs.

I figured as such because AMS' 1200hp-rated fuel kit (with twin pumps) goes for $1,300.

I wonder if it's possible to buy just that thing Bottle posted instead of the entire system since I'd need a different rail, already have a set of injectors, etc.

Good find
What, if anything, makes this Supra-specific? Is it too wide or tall for other applications?

If your engine is demanding more fuel than 1 walbro can deliver and you add another one.. If one fail the car will start and work as usual and when you step on it it will go lean with only one pump working. If you had one big you can just pray it fails when you´re not at wot so you will notice that the pump fails. Just mounting 2 $90 pumps and trust them your $20 000 dollar engine is not something I would feel comfortable with...
I run 2 bosch pumps, is there way to know if one pump fails. wire them to a safety switch or some kind of light to show that they're not working?

Hobbs switch ?
I've never used one personally, but i believe with a certain amount of drop in pressure, it will open/close a contact. This can be wired to shut the engine down, if a sudden drop in fuel pressure was to occur.
someone correct me if i am wrong.

You aren't going to be maxing 2 Walbro Pumps out tho...
How often has anyone seen a Walbro Fail? Those things are ******' troopers...

I've seen a few Walbro's fail. Personally, I think they are hit or miss, and I won't be trusting my motor to the inconsistent QC of the Walbro unit. Hell, what can you really expect from a sub $100 fuel pump?
