too many people have mugen and sir lips on 96-98 civics...anyone else kno a non ricey lip that would be nice??

 

J's racing, Spoon, CTR, Backyard Special.

 

CTR and SiR are the only one's that look good on there, IMO.

Get a 99 civic front type R lip or OEM SI lip, you are going to be looking better by far..just made my case...

i wish they made a Backyard Special lip for 96-98 bumpers...

 

getta SiR lip I had one on my Coupe well....thats before i did the 99-00 conversion on it

 

the graddy lip i no its on a 99-00 but you can custom it on to your 96-98 ive seen it it looks nice i like it

Agreed. They're gross and don't flow with the car at all.

The Type R Style lips look like utter *** on '96-'98 front ends. I'm talking about the lips that look like '99-'00 Si/CTR front lips, but are made to fit the '96-'98 front instead.

off-topic but: has anyone tried to mate a 99-00 front lip onto a 96-98 front end? I heard it works, but it fits weird

Yeah it'd be super tough to make it look like it was made for that.

 

I've heard of people trying to make them work, and yes, it would fit weird.

Plus it would look ugly and like it doesn't belong.

yeah they even made it fit onto an EG coupe, i saw someone do it on here not to long ago... looked pretty clean... the Mugen lip hands down has to be like the highest rated lip for eg/ek's only say that because i see them everywhereeeeeee... but they do look super clean though

 

yea i had a two mugen lips on my 97 civic and wrecked both of em...and now i was thinking of a new lip...dang i did want that passwordjdm one...i say that looked a little cleaner than the mugen...but now im thinkin of hatchback ctr lip...anyone got pics on a silver front end and with square fog lights??
