I have a 2005 civic hybrid, and I also have an automatic start installed on my car. Today, when I was leaving work, I tried to start the car with my key in the ignition, however it wouldn't. I could start it with the auto start however (thank god!)

Anyone know what the problem might be? Luckily its still under warranty, and Id like to get as much info from you guys as possible.

not sure, they probably won't look at it neither since you have an aftermarket remote-starter installed.

 

do you have keyless entry also? if not ,hit unlock on the remote starte remote you have there may be a security feature on it that if you accidently hit lock it wont let you start with a key
