Default AVC-R in a 4th gen - Where to mount?

Keep in mind I have a double-din headunit... Where else could I mount my Apex-i AVC-R unit? I was thinking maybe in the OEM ashtray location? Not sure if there's enough room there though... Hmmm.... Anyone have any other suggestions?

Some people like it seen. Some people don't. I've seen it mounted right in from of cluster for visibility of the built-in boost gauge, in the glove box, armrest and ashtray. All personal perference.

I'd like it to be seen as I don't see a point in buying another boost gauge. Plus it's nice to be able to bring up/down the boost once in a while.

There is plenty of room near the ashtray, you do however have to mod it a little more though for room.

there are pics, ill see if i can find them. if i dont, start checking the old pic thread.

I might mold it where the center HVAC vents are.. But I'd really prefer to keep those. Modifying the ashtray section might be the only way. Does anyone have any pics of anything like that?

I had mine on the steering column way back in the day.

Hmm.. That might work aswell. But it looks very temporary in that placement. Mind you, it's probably the most functional place for it.

Putting it there was the best for me since I would always monitor it, play with settings, etc. I love the option where it will hold your peak values.
