This isn't motorcycle related, but you guys in /26 are the ones i talk to the most. and it seems everything that gets posted in GDD because a bitching war.

anyways, just wondering if since VT, you guys have had a lot of bomb threats, or other threatening situations. So far, we, University of Iowa, has had

-bomb threat locking down two buildings.
today some assclown came to class only wearing a ski mask. Didn't remove it, just sat -there in class. the police department showed up like it was Virginia Tech and arrested him
-apparently there's some business college in Des Moines that was locked down today or yesterday

I've been hearing of similar incidents all over the nation, so just wondering if you guys have experienced anything like that so far

When I went to public school for a year, that high school had some record for bomb threats; one a day was not unusual for that stretch of time. Everytime, they would evacuate the school and waste a lot of time. It was dumb but I don't think anyone was too threatened as it was all in this super suburban town thats main economy was apples.

 

I live off campus personally. But the day after VT we had a suspicious persons report emailed to the whole campus and it turned out to be people passing out bibles.
My school has earned itself the name of "sinfield" (as apposed to linfield) because of the perpetual attempted rapes and other misc. bad things that happen on or near campus.
My neighborhood is right off campus. I don't really worry about school shootings, but my neighborhood is a little sketchy, and i've had stuff stolen from around or house before. I keep a 20 guage shorty mossberg in the house.

I also live by school at the moment. The worst thing I've seen in my neighborhood was the other night where a possum tried to attack my scooter. Unfortunately, I have no caps to bust in its ***. Oh well.

 

Some dood here in CCSF made a bomb thread and had the school close down. This was like on Tuesday.

hahahaha. but seriously, apparently he just sat down in lecture, and didnt say a word and didnt remove the mask. some student got scared and called the cops

 

people are ***** *** attention ****** in this country. Something like this happens and it negatively reinforces every other pathetic *** whipe out there that thinks no one gives a damn about them. They copy stuff like VT and think that in some way it will get them the attention that will make them feel normal. Friggin attention vampires.

 

My school's been fine but I go to Seattle Central and it's full of hippies and anarchists, noone that would actually shoot up a school. We have more anti-war student walkouts per month than we do bomb threats all year.

Nothing?? lol. Maybe cuz were a bunch of either tree huggers or drunkies up here in good ole frostburg.

Our fraternity sponsored a candlelight walk a week ago on the 20th. Local community was there along with the greek community and president of our university.

We had some stupid *** on campus last week threatening people and stuff. Police pwnd him, thankfully.

 

none that I've heard of here at UT Arlington. I live in the dorms as well...but we have had alot of fire alarms in the dormatory lately most are at 4:00 or 5:00am.

I can think of 4 alarms that have happened since the VT shooting.

 

there was a gun left in one of the rooms. That is all

 

I live off campus near Purdue, I haven't heard of anything. But I think that is because people just want to finish their classes or just haven't been to class (its finals week right now, which makes last week dead week)

 

I live off campus at Indiana University. We havent had any bomb threats or attention ***** incidences that I am aware of.
