Speedometer not working - d16y8
So i did a tranny swap and at first the speedo was working off and on (thought maybe some water had to dry up from when we cleaned the casing and it may have gotten inthe the sensor). Anyhow, it finally just stopped. I swaped the current speed sensor out with the one that was in the original transmission (never had a problem with this one), still not working. How do i tell if the problem is the speed sensor or something else? And if it is something else, what could it be?
did you try a diff cluster? thats my issue at hand. My speedo is retarded and only works 1/2 the freakin time. Hopefully tomorrow i can find another one. Freakin U-Pick-It had NO CLUSTERS...
yeah, i was thinking that but not sure how to test and see if the cluster is bad. I don't have the resources to just plug up another cluster, and like you said, u-pull-it doesn't have any....
